In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to create playful, three-dimensional felted sculptures using wool and wire forms.
We’ll cover the basics of building sturdy forms, shaping bendable details, and adding personality through color and texture.
Participants will choose to make either a snail or an octopus, and you’ll design your own color palette using a wide range of wool colors. Along the way, you’ll pick up techniques you can apply to future projects—especially animals and other small sculptural forms.
All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a felting mat and needle so you can continue making at home. No prior felting experience required.
