Overview
Customize your closet for summer! In this 2.5-hour beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to embellish a plain tank top (or another piece of clothing) using a blanket stitch.
We’ll go over basic embroidery tools, how to create a blanket stitch, and the best way to use the stitch on clothing. Next, we’ll get to work on embellishing our tank tops. You’ll have personalized, hands-on guidance throughout the entire workshop to help bring your vision to life.
Please bring your own tank top for this class. If possible, pick a tank top with a raised edging along the arm holes and neckline (like in the photo) — but if you have a different type, feel free to bring it in anyway! We’ll help you work with what you’ve got.
Not a tank top person? You’re also welcome to bring a t-shirt, pair of shorts, or even a tote bag if you prefer.
Format:
2.5-hour, one-time workshop, includes all materials needed besides your article of clothing.
Registration Info: Registration closes 24 hours before workshop start time. Please be mindful of our cancelation/refund policy at checkout. This workshop is for adults & ages 12+.
